Wondering what this is? Mold is rampant in these homes, and one of our closets is just way too musty and mold-infested to put anything in it. Multiple dehumidifiers and several air purifiers have become our new home appliances of choice.

This large "hermie" just found his way to our patio after the rainstorm and brought a few smaller friends with him. Perhaps he came to try to set his pals free from captivity at the Smith residence. Whatever his reason, he is a much more welcomed presence than the tree lizards, coconut rats, geckos, and skinks that also seem to crawl either inside or outside our home from time to time. He's just lucky we already have 10 hermit crabs in our cage. :)
