Trip to the Big Island of Hawai'i--January 2008

Just as school was starting back up after an almost-3-week break, we ventured out for our first off-island trip out of the Marshall Islands since arriving here last August. We decided to try out the Big Island of Hawai'i and see the beautiful black sand beaches, gorgeous Kona sunsets, and Volcanoes National Park, not to mention try some famous Kona coffee and sample a few tropical fruits and smoothies.
